Beggs Ranch Prospect
Low risk wildcat exploration opportunity
The Beggs Ranch prospect is a low risk wildcat oil well drilling opportunity on the 40,000+ acre Beggs Ranch in Dickens County. The prospect is fully leased and ready to be drilled. The prospect is defined by contemporary 3-D seismic, confirmed with geochemical analysis over the prospect. The prospect seeks to develop the Tannehill Sand, which is a locally sourced channelized sandstone, both north and south of the prospect. The prospect lies directly in the hydrocarbon migration pathway, so the sourcing of oil isn’t in question.
The Tannehill sandstone is a prolific oil producer along a trend commencing in Dickens County and extending easterly more than 100 miles into Baylor County, as depicted below.
The Beggs Ranch prospect seeks to recovery in excess of 300,000+ barrels of oil.
